Xiaomi, which is based out of China, may not be in any hurry to sell its smartphones in the United States, but that’s not stopping from expanding internationally anyway. As reported by CNET, Xiaomi will begin selling its smartphones in Mexico through a variety of different retailers by the end of this month. Specifically, Xiaomi will be offering the Redmi Note 4 and the Redmi 4X, which will retail for 5,499 Mexican Pesos and 3,999 Mexican Pesos, respectively. Xiaomi sees Mexico as a gateway into the rest of Latin America, so it’s likely we’ll see more Xiaomi announcements for that part of the world soon.
