Xiaomi today unveiled a series of new ecosystem products and 3 new Mi TVs in India to further bolster its growth and offerings in the country. Apart from smartphones, Xiaomi has been slowly bolstering its product portfolio in India by launching its various ecosystem products.

In total, Xiaomi launched 7 new products in India which includes 4 ecosystem products and 3 Mi TVs.

Mi Band 3

The Mi Band 3 is the successor to the Mi Band 2 and features a 0.78-inch 3D curved OLED display. The larger display allows the wearable to show unread notifications from WhatsApp and other messaging apps instead of simply informing that there’s an unread notification like previous Mi Bands.

The wearable continues to feature a heart rate scanner, activity and sleep tracking, and offers 20-day battery life. New features include find my phone, stopwatch, and built-in alarm. Its build quality has been improved as it is now water-resistant for up to 50m.

Mi TV 4C Pro, Mi LED TV 4A Pro (49) and Mi LED TV 4 Pro

Xiaomi launched three new TVs as well, the successor to its original Mi TV lineup in India launched six months ago. The new TVs run on a more powerful 64-bit Amlogic chipset and come with 2GB RAM and 8GB storage. The 32-inch variant comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB storage though. They also feature S/PDIF port thereby allowing for easier connectivity with your home theater system.

The new TVs run on a new version of PatchWall that is based on Android TV. Running Android 8.1 Oreo, the new Mi TVs offer integration with more content streaming services and also have access to the Google Play Store. An official Prime Video app will also be soon making its way to the TVs. The TVs also come with a new remote which features a dedicated voice search button. This button can be used to trigger Google Voice search which can search across Patchwall as well as the content being played on your dish TV/cable network. What’s even better is that Xiaomi is working on bringing this new Patchwall OS to its existing set of Mi TVs as well. The update is scheduled to go live sometime in Q1 next year. As for the new Mi TVs, the 55-inch variant has been priced at Rs 49,999 and goes on sale starting October 10th. The 32-inch and 49-inch variant are priced at Rs 14,999 and Rs 29,999, respectively.
