Live in the United States or Europe and hoping that Xiaomi launches in your market so that you can easily buy the the company’s upcoming Mi Note or Note Pro? Well, you might have to wait a little longer as Xiaomi has no plans to enter the US or the EU smartphone market for “a few years.” In an interview with the BBC, Xiaomi’s Vice President for International Operations, Hugo Barra was asked about a potential launch date for the Mi Note and Note Pro in the EU and United States....

A month after its global debut, Xiaomi has launched the Mi A3 in India. The Android One handset is the successor to the popular Mi A2 from last year. One of the highlights of the Mi A3 is that this time around, it packs a 6.08-inch AMOLED display. Disappointingly though, it is an HD+ panel which is a bit of an odd move from Xiaomi and Google here. Inside the Mi A3 is a Snapdragon 665 chip that is paired with 4GB/6GB RAM....

For starters, there’s support for 4G radio, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on the Qin similar to the JioPhone and some region-specific Nokia feature phones, and guess what? There’s also the over-hyped AI capabilities brought down from smartphones onto the Qin feature phone. The project is currently backed by over 23,000 people just moments after announcement which is mighty impressive. The nomenclature comes as an ode to a famous Chinese dynasty which in English is meant to be pronounced as “chin”....

Xiaomi today launched its latest and costliest flagship ever — the Mi Note Pro — in China. The company had initially announced the handset at the beginning of this year. The Mi Note Pro comes with a 5.7-inch Quad HD display with a 1400:1 contrast ratio and a 95% NTSC color gamut. Under the hood, the handset is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 chipset, which Xiaomi says does not overheat even after 20 minutes of gaming thanks to the new thermal technologies the company has used in the phone....

Earlier this week, Xiaomi launched the Mi A2 in Spain. The mid-range Android One handset sports a Snapdragon 660 chipset and an impressive dual-camera setup at the rear. Xiaomi has already confirmed that the Mi A2 will launch in over 40 countries worldwide, with the Indian launch of the handset happening on August 8. Today, Samsung India sent out a brief press release quoting the research and analyst firm, GfK, and claiming to be the top smartphone OEM “by a distance”. This was a clear dig at Xiaomi who has been aggressive with their marketing as being the No. 1 smartphone player in the country for the past couple of months. As you would expect, Xiaomi sent out its own press release within minutes of Samsung sending out their’s, refuting the claims made by Samsung and reiterating their position as India’s top smartphone OEM....

The Xiaomi Mi Electric Scooter comes with an aircraft grade aluminum frame with a folding design. In Summary Expected to compete with the OnePlus Nord and the Samsung Galaxy M51, the Mi 10i has however undercut them significantly in terms of price. It comes with the first 108-megapixel camera at its price point as well as some very good hardware, including a 120 Hz refresh rate display, a big battery with fast charging, and stereo speakers.
